It was finally sunny enough to de-blanket Charm and let her sun herself for awhile.
She has settled in well. Hates all the horses (this is the old Charm we know and love).
Most importantly though she is eating... ALOT!
Mostly hay at the moment, but we are slowly increasing her grain ration, and adding some Alfalfa to her diet.
Its truly amazing how much of a difference simply feeding hay a few times a day makes.
Anywho, here is Miss Charm :D

Week 1
More then a week has past since Charm arrived. She has a warm pretty pink blanket to keep her snugly warm and all the hay she can eat.
Here is Charm a week later, just hanging out in our ring stretching her legs.

Brining Charm home
Nov 1st 2009
Charm
And what was Charm standing in?
Needless to say Charm is now safe at our barn.
She is snuggled in a warm waterproof blanket, with free choice hay.
We have started her on small amounts of grain, which will be slowly increased over the next few weeks.
She will be fed a ration balancer, with Rice Bran, BOSS, Flax and soaked Beet Pulp-Alfalfa Pellets and Alfalfa Cubes.
Never again will Charm feel the ache of an empty belly. Her home is here with us.
